From the Maori Village in Rotarua, kayaking in Lake Taupo, driving the incredible Forgotten Highway, watching the mad people bunjee jump over the river by the Haku Falls, breaking our journey at some very rural hay selling towns, being taken on a guided tour of the Govett-Brewster steel clad art gallery in New Plymouth by our lovely friend Kink, being welcomed to our Airbnb by Chris and his chickens, cat and birds with views of Mount Taranaki or finally collapsing into hot thermal pools to watch sunset on Ocean Beach at Kawhiah – North Island is a brilliant, eclectic, incredibly diverse and beautiful part of New Zealand.
Soooooo beautiful! Xx
