We took our time driving from Port Elizabeth to Keur Boom Strand! – what a great name! Had breakfast with the lovely Brigette from my Dubai choir and her daughter at the Grass Roof cafe – again!
We stopped at Tsitsikamma Reserve to cross the Storms River Mouth on the suspension bridge – the noise of the ocean, the light hitting the waves, the perfectly rounded water sculpted pebbles and the rock Dessie ( looked like a marmoset) – meant we didn’t want to leave. A great drive along the N2 – trouble free and virtually lorry free highway! Felt like a real road trip as we drove into the sunset with the Tsitsikamma mountains hauntingly silhouetted in the sky.
